Hello my name is Katie and I am a Freshman at Okemos High School. A hobby that I personally enjoy the most is drawing. I wouldn't say that I am the best drawer in the world, but I certainly am not the worst. I use it to calm me and help me with anxiety or stress. Another hobby I have is playing the cello. I have been playing cello for about 4 years and I really like playing it. I love playing new challenging music. However, I do not really like the stress and competition at my school orchestra. Other interests I have include reading, playing with my dog, and spending time with my family.

I have many questions about myself and the world. Some of these questions include;
What will I major in college in the future?
Which city would be better, New York or California?
How do others see me?
Will I ever become a leader?
Will my stressed and anxious nature be better later in life?
What will society be like in 10 years?
Do people really have an "other half" or "soulmate"?
Does the universe really eventually turn into nothing like how it was before?
What will the technology be like in 20 years?
I wonder about many things and I am interested in learning more about these topics as well.

I am currently reading a book with the title of "Brain on Fire" by Susannah Calahan. It is a very intriguing book due to the true storyline. It is essentially about a dark time in the author's life. This dark time was on how she went mentally insane and how she got better from that.
