Welcome Ladies and gentlemen. BY GEHAD STACY AND CINDY :)
We are honored to be here and we appreciate that you want to listen to our opinions on our conflict here. We will be speaking about what is happening in the USA.. Everything that is affecting our country and causing many issues. USA is suffering greatly and must take precautions.
The world is like a puzzle, if one ‘peace’ is missing , then something goes wrong.
People need to understand about the awful job the government did investigating the assassination of JFK. They need to understand the relationships between the US Government and his death, and the possibility of the Government being behind the whole thing. Just keep an open mind to the evidence.
JFK's death is still a mystery surrounded by inquiries such as the grassy knoll where the umbrella man, and dark complicated man were (signaling shooters), the magic bullet, and the CIA involvement.
In the opinion piece "End Federal Flood Insurance" by Judith Kildow and Jason Scorse from the New York Times, the author says that to avoid disaster, people should move away from the coast. The authors also believe that flood insurance should be gotten rid of, because it's not fair that tax payers have to pay for people who don't want to move away from the coast by choice.

In Michael Taube's opinion piece, "Leaving Afghanistain before the job is done," from The Washington Times, the author Michael Taube discuses President Obama's plan to send our troops home early. He states that if a much earlier than expected troop withdrawal from Afghanistan comes to into place, Mr. Obama could be taking a huge risk.
There has been a lot of talk in the US about the troubles in Iran. During the Vice-Presidential debate a whole lot of time went to this very topic. Both Ryan, and Biden expressed their views about what should be done, and now that Obama has been reelected Biden will get his chance to hopefully effect the world in a positive matter. Obama, and his democratic platform, have "pinned their hope on diplomacy"(Henderson). I believe that this is the right way to approach the situation. Another war would only cause more problems for the US both economically and involving public safety.
Today I read an interesting article here, http://www.dailyfinance.com/2012/10/29/north-american-oil-independence-n.... This article made an interesting point about North American energy independence that I hadn't thought about before. It argued that the transportation of oil by truck or train is so much, that Western Canadian provinces export their oil for cheaper to Asia. Consequently, the Eastern provinces of Canada, along with a lot of the U.S. have to import large quantities of oil.
The other day in class we took two surveys, Vote Easy and Select Smart to see which candidate we are most aligned with. I was 89% and 98% respectively for Obama. I'm definitely a democrat so neither surprised me very much. The two most important issues to me are Immigration and balancing the budget. Immigration hits somewhat close to home for me due to the fact that my grandparents were immigrants from China in the late 1940s during the communist revolution there.
1) The first video I produced included a combination on interviews and film. To start the film there is a presidential speech given by Franklin Roosevelt. I then include several pictures of the Pearl Harbor attack in Hawaii. The second part of the film is a short clip of Adolf Hitler. The film touches base on major subjects of World War two. This includes Pearl Harbor, Nazi Germany, the Manhattan project and the Holocaust.
Immigration has become a very popular issue today. It's been seen all over the world's news and newspapers. The main immigration issue in the US is with illegal Mexican immigration.
