Jimmer Dobbs (JD) came back from upstate during the school year to find that his mother had adopted a former rescued dog, a Rottweiler that JD later renamed Johnny Rotten. Other than the dog, nothing has changed in the small town. During the book, JD clearly is hiding something that had happened when he was in upstate during the summer. JD is worried that his friends would ask about what happened in upstate, but they didn't. As time passes and JD's daily routine is regular and normal, one of his more distant friends cornered JR and caused the dog to bit him (Mars).

Kay went hiking one day and crossed the border between the dragons and the humans, which was illegal. She didn't cross it by much, only about a foot away when she tripped and dropped into a river. When she pulled herself out she saw a massive dragon and was terrified. After a while she and the dragons became unlikely friends, and he even allowed Kay to ride on his back while he was flying. After about 2 weeks a military jet plane crossed the border, and this caused the dragon tribe to become angry.

I recently took a quiz which told me that I am a verbal-linguistic learner. This quiz told me I learn best by asking questions and that is exactly how I am going to write this response.

I don't agree with Mitch at all in his article, http://personal.crocodoc.com/ApaB0SM . He has been raised in a totally different lifetime then kids. He may find it weird to send all those messages in 1 day, but that's just how our generation is.

I feel terribly sad just like the rest of the country about the killing of Trayvon Martin. In Anthony Turner's article on the New York Times Learning Network, "Unarmed and Innocent about the death of Trayvon Martin," http://learning.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/03/26/on-trayvon-martin-a-guest-p... , he explains what happened and his opinion on the facts. He also shows his sadness towards Trayvon's situation and sympathy for his family.

The quote I chose here is basically saying how student dont't see a reason to do summer homework, but it helps you.

I think this is interesting because I think it's actually true, I personally don't think that reading a sign or something is going to help you with your reading.

Ivan Pavlov studied digestion. I am not making this up. He won a Nobel Prize for his studies on the topic and was conducting experiments on the salivary glands of dogs when he noticed something out of the ordinary. The short of the story is this: Pavlov, a physiologist by trade, trained dogs to salivate at the sound of a metronome, risking his career, but managing to change the field of psychology forever.

After reading Chapter 13 in Their Eyes Were Watching God, I'm thinking that Tea Cake doesn’t look like the right person for Janie. Now that she has a job and a house and money on her side, it seems like Tea Cake is willing to take advantage of that. Janie is old and Tea Cake is a young man, and from my point of view all he wants is her money. Janie got stuck with the wrong guy again. On page 147 there was a part where Janie was trying to control Tea Cake or give Tea Cake another chance for his mistake and she responded is kiss-up way.

I'm reading a book called "Their eyes are watching god" by Zora Hurston. So far now Jnaie and Joe are now married and honestly I think it won't end good because they needed to take time to get to know each other more just because Jaine should've learned her listen with her other husband even though it was a n arranged marriage. To me Janie has time she is only 16 years old there's no need to rush.
