where i tasted pen caps and pencil erasers.
I am from sprinklers and loud children
From tennis and sweat.

And salty chips
I am from Brenda and Robert
From gifts and wars.

to "your annoying"
From loud to forgetful
I am from closed minded and a hard headed.
From family and culture.
I am from oxtail and Ham
Family gathering and love
I am from death of an loved one.
A one who came before me
who i didn't really know
I am from a florescent photo album
and a tiny little replica of the  leaning tower of Piza.
I am from traditions and rights.

I loved your poem as both a reader AND your bff! One of the sentences that poked out at me was the line where you said, "I am am from the class room, where i tasted pen caps and pencil erasers." This reminds me of a foolish (haha I said foolish) child hood experience that happened back in kindergarden. I kinda sorta got an eraser stuck in my ear because of a dare that one of my friends told me to do... (Shhhh! Don't tell no body XP)

Another line that grasped my attention was when you said, "From gifts and wars." That one-liner caught my attention causing me to want to know exactly what you meant by gifts and wars... I absolutely loved your poem and yes, I'll see you tomorrow in school! =]

P.S Another line that stuck out to me was when you said, "I am from oxtail and Ham." This causes me to say to myself something deep, something that only when the time is right the person can say.... "I... AM...... HUNGRY!!!" XDD
