Catcher In The Rye - J.D Salinger "Personal Connections"

I’ve started to read catcher in the rye again by j.d salinger.I have notice holden is still very excited to hear of what jane has said to stradlater.Unfortunately Stradlater did not tell what holden has said about the kings in a row. Holden yet did his composition Assignment,And stradlater yet complains about how he did it wrong and did it not follow the assignment that was given about a house or something.This would of got me mad at least he would've said was “can you do it again”.

I am angry at holden in the catcher in the rye by J.D Salinger because he does not stick up for himself.He always judges people by their characteristics and keeps it,IN HIS MIND.An example of what I mean is on page 3,paragraph 1. “she was a pretty nice girl though”.“she had a big nose and her nails were all bitten down and bleedy looking and she had those damn falsies . .”.He always judges people and at a point is ok but it gets annoying after awhile.Holden should judge himself more because I think he the weird one.

So Far Stradlater just came back from his date with jane and Holden was wanting to know if Stradlater told Jane about what he said about keeping he kings in a row in chess.Stradlater does not tell her but yet ask where was his assignment and did he completed it.There in their room and holden is smoking a cigarette laying down talking about what jane and Stradlater did.I guess just to know if they did anything.I can tell Holden like her and wants to meet her again because when he was describing jane he had nothing but compliments to say about her.Knowing Holden that's a really good thing because all he does is complains about this person habits and how dirty that person is.

I am looking forward to reading the rest of this book because I will like to know if holden and stradlater fight or if he goes out looking for jane.Especially what is going to happen when he gets kick out of Pencey and moves back with his parents.I wonder what his parents are going to do.By the way im reading the book I can tell their his parents will be very unhappy.Catcher In The Rye is a wonderful book for good readers and it could teach a lot just by Holden.So im very excited to continue this adventure in this book.
